RP1.3-03 Methane Pyrolysis for Hydrogen Production
Executive Summary | The project aims to develop and demonstrate a novel process with strong potential to achieve a step-change in the cost of production of hydrogen from natural gas. Natural gas pyrolysis involves the cracking of methane into solid carbon and hydrogen, allowing the solid carbon to be sequestered, while also offering potential that some of the carbon may yield higher value by-products. |
