Join our annual Sydney Research Seminar, run with the APGA in the heart of the Sydney CBD, and also as a webinar for participants who cannot attend in-person.

The seminar is a great way to meet our community face-to-face and discuss the latest research created across our three programs. Online access is available for any participant who cannot attend in person, giving you full access to the presentations and an opportunity to join the Q&A sessions.

Hydrogen Pipelines – an International Perspective

Neil Gallon is a Principal Engineer with the ROSEN Group in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK, having previously worked for various consulting and manufacturing companies, including British Steel / Tata Steel and GE Wellstream. His current work concentrates on understanding the effects of gaseous hydrogen on steel properties.

Neil will outline the current status of hydrogen pipeline codes across the globe, and summarise recent developments in repurposing. Specific attention will be paid to the EPRG Repurposing Guidelines White Paper and the PRCI / EFI Consensus Engineering Requirements, both of which the presenter was a co-author of,  with major areas of interest highlighted.
