RP1.10-06 Renewable hydrogen production by reverse electrodialysis

Executive Summary

This PhD project will provide an analysis of the challenges and economic benefit of using reverse electrodialysis to capture the osmotic energy released when fresh water from rivers mixes with seawater. This energy can be captured as a mixture of renewable hydrogen and electricity.
